Last Wild River Resort

About Last Wild River Resort

Tucked along the Glover River near Wright City, 16 miles from Broken Bow, Last Wild River Resort stretches across 164 private acres beneath the Ouachita Mountains, giving southeast Oklahoma one of its most dramatic settings for a getaway or a gathering. The resort pairs luxury lodging with an on-site event venue, so guests can soak in mountain views, hike property trails, kayak and canoe the river, and still be steps from a ceremony site or reception hall. Couples come here for destination weddings; families come for reunions; companies book retreats and conferences — all drawn by a property that feels, as one guest put it, like an enchanted forest brought to life.

The signature stay is On River Time Lodge, a riverfront lodge that sleeps 18 with a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor living spaces, and a covered hot tub patio, while Buck's Bunkhouse adds western-themed sleeping for 8 more for larger groups. Weddings unfold across multiple seasonal locations on the grounds, from a historic chapel in the woods to the Enchanted Ridge and open riverside spots, with catering and massage packages available to round out the celebration. Past guests have praised the saloon area and been impressed that vendors found full commercial kitchen facilities on hand for the reception.
